Leeds based Afro-Jazz fusion band Afrodesia has played across many dance floors around the UK. Bringing fast–paced rhythms, bursting melodies and rapid improvisation, Afrodesia channels the raw energy and beat from the motherland. Drawing upon influences from across Africa including Afrobeat, Highlife, Juju, Kwela and Kwasa kwasa and combining it with jazz. Afrodesia aims to continue the legacy of the many African giants such as Fela Kuti, Hugh Masekela and Ebo Taylor.
