If you’re aged 16-25, based in the north west and are yet to break into the professional gigging circuit, then mjf introduces is for you.

This scheme is all about young regional bands on the first step of their career in jazz.

Our mjf introduces alumni include Sam Healey who is now half of the formidable duo Skeltr currently taking the UK jazz scene by storm, Alexander Bone who was named BBC Young Musician of the Year in 2014, and Mali Hayes who has gone on to tour across Europe including Soundwaves Festival in Croatia in 2018.

A gig at mjf awaits the very best applicants, so give it your best shot. We do listen to everything you send us.

Applications for mjf introduces are now closed. To be the first to know when applications open, sign up here.
