    mjf volunteers play a crucial and valued role during mjf, often as first point of contact for artists and audiences. While we don't have may opportunities to volunteer at this years festival, please let us know which area you are interested in and we can hopefully find a position for you!

  • Please provide your availability from 19 - 28 May 2023 Hours may vary dependent on the role but are generally in line with programme timings. You can view the mjf2023 programme timings in more detail on our website: https://manchesterjazz.com/mjf2023-festival/ We are looking for volunteers who can commit to multiple shifts so please provide ALL of your availability for the time period below (we won't book you in to volunteer for every shift you provide availability for below, and will consult with you before confirming your schedule)
  • We are currently looking into what uniform we may offer to our volunteers for mjf 2023. Please let us know your size.

  • During your volunteering, we will provide one free meal per shift. As such, please do let us know of any dietary requirements.

  • Criminal Convictions

    Have you any unspent criminal convictions or bind-overs, or any cautions, warnings or reprimands? (Please note that the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 allows some convictions to be considered spent after a set period of time. We do not need to know about convictions that are spent.). Any information given in this section of the form will be treated as confidential.

    All data collected through the volunteer application process is stored for the duration of the festival. This data will be used for reporting purposes as requested by the festival’s sponsors.
