NQ Jazz brings the forefront of contemporary jazz and improvised music to Manchester. Their weekly gigs see a varied programme of jazz and improvising artists from the UK, Europe and US perform in an intimate setting.
mjf are excited to team up with NQ Jazz for three mjf2022 gigs at one of their regular venues, The Yard.
The Yard is a unique, creative hub based in a regenerated old school building in North Manchester. Their beautiful performance space is perfect for both intimate seated gigs, whilst also accommodating silent film & improvisation nights with high quality sound and audio-visual equipment.

- The Yard has worked incredibly hard to provide an accessible venue. They have installed ramp access to the front with direct entry to the main atrium and also ramp access to the rear.
- There is also an accessible toilet in one of the side wings adjacent to the main event space.
- They advise emailing info@theyardmcr.com to let them know which concert you are attending. This will enable them to reserve a space for you.
- They will also give you a number to use while you are attending the venue should you need bar or food service. Carers and support assistants will have free entry when accompanying a full paying visitor.
