We are currently recruiting for the role of Operations & Festival Administrator at mjf.

mjf is Manchester’s longest-running music festival and a cherished part of the local and international jazz landscape. Here at the festival, we operate a small core team; the role of Operations and Festival Administrator works with all roles across the entire mjf operation. This role helps day to day operations run smoothly, supports the team in the run up to and during the festival, and works towards making new commissions and festival events happen.

Please find further information in our Operations and Festival Administrator job description, which can be found here.

In order to apply, we require all applicants to fill in the form below and attach a CV. Once you click submit, the form will redirect you to our anonymous Equality Form that we also ask applicants to complete. (Please note this information will not affect any of your applications with mjf.)

If you would prefer to submit your application via video instead of the written form, please record a video of yourself in which you answer all questions accurately, completely, in the same order and within the specified word count. We ask that videos submitted last no longer than 8 minutes in total. We still require a written CV to be uploaded along with your video application, a completed Diversity Monitoring form and confirmation of your eligibility to work in the UK.

Please message our General Manager, Nataly Chambers, (nataly[at]manchesterjazz.com) should you need any further information, support and/or guidance with any part of the application.

The deadline is 17th November, 5PM.

Equality, Diversity & Inclusionmjf’s festival stages, artist development programmes, board and volunteer workforce are positive, inclusive environments and celebrate the diversity of our population. However, disabled people and people of colour are underrepresented in our team, so we particularly encourage applications from people from those backgrounds.

Applications forms or videos that do not answer all questions will not be considered.
