Sadly we have decided to cancel John Helliwell's Ever Open Door show @metbury which was due to take place at the end of March.

Everyones safety is our biggest priority, and we have all come so far together. We hope this is the last gig we cancel & are looking forward to rescheduling all the gigs we can ASAP.

All purchased tickets will be refunded.

Better times are just around the corner!

Soundcheck is our newest Talent Development programme and is for 18-25yr olds based in Greater Manchester. It is a space to introduce improvisation into music-making with 1-1 industry mentoring, group feedback and sessions with the mjf team.

Due to the current lockdown restrictions we regret

Due to the current lockdown restrictions we regret to announce that @dennisrollinsfunkytrombone's Velocity Trio gig at @metbury has been cancelled.

This gig was due to take place on Saturday 20th February 2021, but the uncertainty brought on by national lockdown makes it unsafe and incredibly difficult to plan for an event both for us and the musicians involved. As with the cancelled Camilla George gig, all purchased tickets will be refunded and you will receive an email to this effect.

We truly hope that we will be able to see our future planned events come to fruition in some shape or another, and that it won’t be too long until we can host the wonderful Dennis Rollins’ Velocity Trio!
