Rum Buffalo

Matt & Phreds

The final Saturday of Matt & Phred’s at mjf2022 calls for all the stops to be pulled out! We’ve lined up the wildly popular London-based Rum Buffalo to bring their huge sound for what is set to be a massive night.

Rum Buffalo mingle many genres and blend blues, rhythm, fiery pop-rock and space punk with filthy synths and epic horn lines. Known for their unforgettable shows, their unique live performances border on the surreal and are packed with massive bass lines and carried by unified melodies.

They recently launched their most recent single from the album Slumtown Nightmare with an unforgettable show to a packed audience in London’s Wilton’s Music Hall, joining forces with dancers, choreographers, light artists and walkabout performers.

Since their formation, their jet-powered live show has stormed the UK live music scene, performing to 10,000 on the Truth stage at Glastonbury as well as Boomtown Fair, Shambala, Wilderness, Buskers Bern and dozens of other festivals.

Their debut album Bloodmoon will be released in March 2022.
