Volunteer Applications for mjf 2023 have now closed!

mjf2023 is taking place from Friday 19 May – Sunday 28 May; with events across First Street, St Ann’s Church, Band on the Wall, Matt & Phreds, NQ Jazz at The Yard and Forsyths Music Shop, to name a few. 

mjf volunteers play a crucial and valued role during the festival, often as first point of contact for artists and audiences.

 Please be aware that roles may vary slightly based on the venues and gigs you’re assigned 

What mjf offers volunteers 

If you do volunteer for mjf2023, mjf will: 

Tickets  

We can offer a pair of tickets to an event of your choosing, subject to availability 24 hours before the gig. Want to see what’s on? Have a look at our website https://manchesterjazz.com/events/ 

Hours 

Hours may vary dependent on the role but are generally in line with programme timings.

If successful, you’ll be given a volunteer handbook and invited to attend a volunteer briefing session prior to your first shift (exact time TBC).
