In honour of our 30th anniversary festival, artist Kaitlyn Brockley curated a celebatory zine highlighting key festival events and artists.
Kaitlyn Brockley is a photographic artist exploring themes of nostalgia, introspection and feminism. Her latest work “Jazz is” commemorates Manchester Jazz Festival in its 30th year, using the zine format and DIY methods to represent and celebrate the grassroots jazz scene in Manchester. Riso-printed and hand-stitched, the zine aims to define jazz using the words of the jazz community, inspired by the Youth Advisory Board’s “Jazz is Everywhere” initiative
