The 24th mjf returns to the city from May 23-27 2019 with a fresh new Festival Hub.

This year our Festival Hub will run from St Ann’s Square up to New Cathedral Street.

Our exciting new location will play host to three music stages and a variety of food and drink outlets, curated especially for us by Manchester Food & Drink Festival.

Here’s what you can expect from our Festival Hub:

St Ann’s Square

This area of the festival hub will host St Ann’s Stage where internationally renowned jazz artists will perform free concerts from midday through to early evening each day.

Alongside the main stage you can find one of our festival bars and a delicious mix of food and coffee vendors

After the daytime performances, DJs will continue the celebrations each evening – perfect for those who want to carry on partying with us into the night!

Exchange Street

Exchange Street will be the new home of the mjf box office, the place to head for tickets, show times, brochures, and anything else you might want to know about mjf!

The mjf box office will be open between 11:30am and 8:30pm each day of the festival. You can also find even more of our tempting food and drink offers, providing a wide-range of culinary delights.

Should you need it, Exchange Street will be the location of our first aid base and site security.

New Cathedral Street

New Cathedral Street will be playing host to not one but two of our stages this year: the mjf introduces stage and our acoustic stage.

The mjf introduces stage is the place to catch sensational up-and-coming artists from across the North West and beyond. Some refreshment stalls lead the way to the mjf garden, where you can find another of our festival bars.

The mjf garden will hold our acoustic stage, a Victorian bandstand which will feature acoustic music from soloists and duos.

See below for our full programme and details of our new venues, as well as our food and drink vendors on offer this year. You can also sign up to receive the latest mjf news here.
