As the city’s longest-running music festival, we are committed to establishing ourselves firmly within the wider Greater Manchester music scene and across the boroughs. And that’s why we launched into the new year (and mjf2026) with a host of exciting partner collaborations that featured The Manchester Folk Festival and Oldham Coliseum.
Staying true to our mission: to widen access to live music for audiences, our artistic director programmed a range of jazz artists into partners’ festivals and theatre stages, platforming them to new listeners and inviting new attenders to explore different venues.
